The problem is simple.
You can run a great call, pick the wrong carrier, and spend weeks finding out. By then the client is tired, you are starting over, and the work you already did pays nothing.
Producers were expected to keep a lot of carrier rules in their heads, retype the same information, and hope the carrier agreed later. The problem was not the person taking the call. The work around the call was broken.
Peach Pilot was built to take that guessing and busywork off your plate, starting with carrier matching.
